About Simeanna Home (for the aged)
The home was officially opened by His Grace - The Archbishop Anthony Pantin on Saturday 4th June 1987. The Parish Priest, who was instrumental in the establishing of the home, was Fr. Herbert Seignoret. To read more about the home, please go here.

This committee meets every 2nd Tuesday at the Parish Office/Simeanna Home at 6:30pm.
Admission
Incoming Resident
The individual and/or Guardian must be interviewed by a Panel comprising a minimum of two (2) persons inclusive of one (1) Board member.
Prior to an interview incoming residents must provide a Medical Certificate issued by a Medical Practitioner stating the patient's medical status, what type of medication, etc.

Application form
Hereunder is a Summary of an Application form which is to be filled out by or on behalf of the incoming resident when the individual is accepted:Name, Address, Age, Date of Birth, Place of Birth, ID Card number, Sex, Nationality, Religion, Martial Status, Doctor's Name, Income - Pension, Other, etc., Relative or friends to contact in an emergency - telephone number, address, etc.
Financial Agreement for Residents' form
Double Occupancy: Fee paid: $1900.00 Payable on the 1st day of every month. Should the incoming resident decide on the 15th of the month or any day thereafter, the fee is $950.00. Kindly be advised that the following month's payment will revert to $1900.00 and continuing.
Single Occupancy: also available at a special rate
Interview date:
The incoming resident or Guardian would have had all this information prior to the interview. Forms can be filled out on the same day of the interview. When the money is paid and everything is finalised the resident can be accepted.
