To effectively and efficiently administer the goods of the parish in the following ways: By ensuring that the income and produce of church goods are administered according to diocesan directives, Protecting, safeguarding and improving church property, Keeping accurate accounts of income and expenditure, Investing surplus funds Providing an accurate an timely account to the parishioners Planning and budgeting for the activities of the parish
History
In accordance with the policy and guidelines of the Archdiocese of Port of Spain, in August 2004, Fr. Garth Eversley O. Carm. appointed the members of the Finance Committee for a three year term.
Members
The members of the Finance Committee are as follows:
- Parish Priest: Fr. Gerard Tang Choon O.Carm.
- Chairman: Learie Jadoo
- Secretary: Rosalind Murray
- Finance Officer: Jennifer Bailey
Reason for Existence
According to Canon 537, in each parish there is to be a Finance Committee to assist the Parish Priest with the administration of church goods.
Canon 1280 indicates that Finance Committee of every juridical person are to have at least two persons to assist with the duties of administration.
Events and Projects
Although the Finance Committee is not directly responsible for events which take place in the parish, the Committee is mandated to supervise and / or monitor all fund raising efforts as set out by the Archdiocese of P.O.S. policy and guidelines.

Meetings are held on the second Thursday of the month at 7:00 p.m. at the Church
